Afrika! Afrika! at the Tented Palaces, Trafford Centre 22nd July - 10th September

This African circus enjoys a marathon run this summer at the Trafford Centre.

The show that has been dubbed the 'African Cirque Du Soleil' has a 7 week run that follows on from a successful season at the O2 Arena, where celebrities including Queen Latifah, Uma Thurman and Bob Geldof have been among the audience of up to 2000 within the 9 storey high tent. 100 performers are in the cast for this energetic, breathless journey through African culture and heritage through the mediums of dance, performance art, song and music. The entertainment ranges from contortionists up to breakdancers.

The tent is on the grounds of the Trafford Centre, rather than within the building. There are no performances on Mondays.
