Internationally acclaimed violinist Alina Ibragimova performs in a specially constructed chamber hall within Manchester Art Gallery as part of Manchester International Festival.
Zaha Hadid is one of the most well-respected architects in the world at the moment. Now she and her partner Patrik Schumacher have created a specially commissioned chamber hall within Manchester Art Gallery. Over the course of nine concerts, the space will play host to three of the world’s finest classical musicians as they perform JS Bach’s solo instrumental works.
Alina Ibragimova will play JS Bach’s Sonata No.2 in A minor, BWV 1003, Partita No.2 in D minor, BWV 1004, Sonata No.3 in C major, BWV 1005 and Partita No.3 in E major, BWV 1006, bringing together some of the world’s most beautiful chamber music and a near-perfect environment in this outstanding event in the second Manchester International Festival calendar.
