Bill Bailey's Tinselworm at MEN Arena 13, 15, 16 November
In Comedy
Archived: This event was in 2007.
We love Bill Bailey. He might look like a cross between a hippy, a troll and a vicar from the Deep South but we'd still like to take him out for a pint. Not only does he consistently crack us up on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Black Books, but he's one of the best stand-ups Britain has ever produced. His new show, Tinselworm, is bigger, shinier, funnier, darker and more personal than his previous shows. It takes in subjects as grand as God, delusion, the Creation vs. Science Ding-Dong, jazz singers, tattoos, the majesty of Emo, the music of nature, worms, gaps, plus the usual traveller's tales, anecdotes, memories and the alternate reality that is Bill's world. We're not entirely sure what a Tinselworm is - but we know we're looking forward to finding out.

Bill Review
By Julie
It's really worth getting those last minute tickets for this show. I saw Bill last night in M.E.N Arena and it was truely one of the best shows I have ever seen. Even though he has had a 3 year gap he hasn't changed a bit, which I personally loved to see. Little familiar bits here and there had the croud going wild. It really was great. And he uses even more visual aids this time, with the help of the enourmous screens they have there. Although, Bill could entertain anyone with no help whatsoever. He's a genuis. Definately worth the money. Go see him!
