After a turbulent couple of years, Britney Spears sets out to show she is back on top of her game.

Over the last couple of years there have been moments where it seemed that Britney Spears’ career was beyond resuscitation after the star suffered a massive and very public breakdown following the birth of her second child, the breakdown of her marriage and a growing dependency on alcohol and drugs.

However, fast forward to 2009 and it looks to be a very different story for Britney Spears. After taking time out to address her issues in a number of treatment centres, Spears is now back on top of her game and has picked up accolades at the recent MTV Video Music Awards and MTV European Music Awards including Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Video of the Year 2008, Album of the Year (Blackout) and Act of 2008.
