The award-winning Irish comic brings a second helping of What It Is to the Palace Theatre.
Following two sold-out dates at the Palace Theatre last October, Dylan Moran will be bringing his new show What It Is back to the city for a one-off date in February.
It was no surprise when What It Is sold out first time round. After making his name on the circuit as the youngest ever winner of the Perrier Comedy Award, he went on to win huge audiences around the world with his sitcom Black Books. Moran plays Bernard Black, a narcissistic, eccentric, bad-tempered and perpetually drunk bookstore owner. The series, which co-starred Bill Bailey, won two BAFTAs for best situation comedy and continues to be heralded as one of the best sitcoms of the last ten years, and set him up for roles in both Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run.
If there are tickets left for this newly scheduled appearance in Manchester by the time you read this, count yourself lucky and bag them quickly. It may have already shown in the city but Moran’s latest show, What It Is, will sell out for sure.
