Anybody who considers themselves a true 'Manc' knows about the city's impressive musical heritage and the record label, Factory Records, that changed the sound of the nation.
Now Urbis is offering music lovers the chance to discover exactly where history was made through a tour of the sites that played key roles in the Factory Records story.
The tour will start at the Free Trade Hall, which hosted the legendary Sex Pistols gig which inspired Factory Records impresario Tony Wilson and bands like The Smiths, The Fall and The Buzzcocks. It will also take in seminal venues such as the home of Factory Records and the Hacienda nightclub.
