Hardman Square in Spinningfields becomes a free cinema for the summer…
Every Thursday this summer, Hardman Square in Spinningfields will show free, open-air screenings of both new and classic films. Screenings begin at 9pm, though they are proving so popular that we advise you to get down there for 8pm if you hope to find a good spot on the grass! No tickets are needed, deckchairs and blankets are available to hire, drinks are available from a specially created outside bar from Giraffe restaurant and you can pre-book a picnic at the bargain price of £12 per person from Carluccio's. All in all, we can't think of a better way to spend a balmy summer's evening.
Films' showing as follows:
2nd July: Man on Wire
9th July: The Science of Sleep
16th July: Eagle vs. Shark
23rd July: The Graduate
30th July: Quantum of Solace
6th August: Grease
8th August: The Incredibles (family screening, 8pm)
13th August: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
