Foo Fighters & Manic Street Preachers to play huge Manchester Stadium gig.
This summer will see "the last great American rock band" (The Independent) play its biggest ever UK show outside of London, as Foo Fighters headline Manchester's 57,000 capacity City of Manchester Stadium on Monday 02 June 2008.
Tickets for the show are on sale priced at £42.50 and £49.50 with a six ticket limit per application.
Coming in the wake of an instantly sold out two-night stand at Wembley Stadium (163,000 tickets sold in 24 hours), Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace entering the UK chart at #1 with the year's biggest first week sales by an international artist and the biggest first week sales ever on iTunes UK, as well as five Grammy nominations including their first ever for Album of the Year and Record of the Year, Friday's on-sale marks a phenomenal end to the Foo Fighters' most amazing year to date.
Manic Street Preachers and The Futureheads are the support acts, making this gig extremely good value.

Oh What A Night!

Last nights gig was absolutley amazing! The Foo's played about two an a half hours and rocked for every minute of it. The set included many of their hits old and new and even a little acoustic set in the middle. The guys seemed to really enjoy it aswell. Really friendly crowd and a good time had by all.

Agreed! Mr Grohl ask how much were the tickets... it didnt matter! How do the Foo's do it, over 2 hours and still going! Played all their best tracks and a couple of catchy new ones! With dave grolh's humour and the bands energy they played relentlesly, an amazing band to see live and one of the best Ive seen so far!
