Frantic Assembly are one of the most interesting theatre groups in Britain at the moment.

They have now turned their energies onto Othello, Shakespeare's classic tale of jealousy, paranoia, sex and murder. Here, Othello is the only black man in a Northen town, a bouncer trying to keep order in a world of broken glass and pool cue beatings, before a passionate and dangerous affair leaves him at the hands of the malignant Iago.

Combining Shakespeare's electrifying script with Frantic Assembly's trademark fusion of movement, dance, script and design, this show promises to be dangerous, thrilling and above all, memorable.
