It seems there is nothing that Hot Chip can't do. From storming the charts with hits like Over and Over and Ready For The Floor to headlining cutting-edge underground parties, picking up award nominations to uniting indie and electro fans, Hot Chip have been making waves since their album The Warning burst onto the scene back in 2006. Now the band will play at Manchester Academy to celebrate the release of their fourth album One Life Stand.

Hot Chip hit the big time after signing with Moshi Moshi. The label has been behind some of the quirkiest and most individual acts around today, from Florence and the Machine to Hot Club de Paris and Friendly Fires. Hot Chip have now announced that they will be supported by Casiokids, the next big thing from the label.
