Hot Chip to play Manchester Academy 16 February

Hot Chip announce February tour to mark the release of their latest album Made In The Dark.
The album will be released on February 4th, 10 days before the band begin their 13-date tour.
Tickets for the Manchester gig are expected to sell quickly after the band's previous album, Warning, brought Hot Chip mainstream success in 2006. It was named Album of the Year by Mixmag and 4th Best Album of 2006 by NME.
The band has true crossover appeal, fusing electro with heavy basslines while still attracting a huge indie audience. They have also earned a strong reputation as DJs / producers, releasing many remixes over the last two years and have played DJ sets in Manchester recently at venues such at Sankeys, The Music Box and The Warehouse Project.
