James Blunt brings his All The Lost Souls Tour 2008 to Manchester this October.
The former army captain has included this date in the city as part of a 9 date stint across the UK as part of the promotion for his 2nd album. All The Lost Souls, which debuted at number 1 in the album chart on its first week of release.
James learned to play both piano and guitar while still a young boy but broke into the music business at the relatively late age of 24 after trying his best to resist the pressures of both the education system and his family's expectations. His father is a retired colonel.
After trying his luck in California, armed with demos and guitar, he secured management and recording deals and then, of course, hit the big time with over 10 million sales of his smash-hit single You're Beautiful.
His latest album, like Back to Bedlam before it, showcases his talent for emotion-drenched, heart-wringing lyrics and melodies, and expect him to sing tracks from it such as 1973, Carry You Home and Give Me Some Love.
