Just Jack at Manchester Academy 5th October

Just Jack has had a phenomenal year. After a false start in 2003, he resigned to Mercury Records in 2006, and since then his singles Starz in Their Eyes, Glory Days and Writer's Block have been all over the airwaves.

His music shares some qualities with the new wave of British performers such as The Streets, Lily Allen and Kate Nash, while retaining a unique dance-based sound. Latest single No Time is a great example of this, combining a Camden narrative with house grooves and an acid-jazz, disco edge that is all his own.

Having wowed crowds at festivals like T in the Park, V Festival and Wireless (where he was the special guest of Faithless), this tour looks set to be hugely popular.
