Justin Moorhouse’s Ever Decreasing Social Circle at The Lowry 13th February 2009

Archived: This event was in 2008.
How many friends does one man really need? Mancunian comic Justin Moorhouse tries to find out in an all-new stand up show.
Justin Moorhouse is a popular guy. He’s got friends all over the country, maybe even the world – and luckily, they all want to poke him on Facebook. There’s only one problem: he’s not sure who half of them are.
Taking his nana’s advice that you should be able to count your friends on the fingers of one hand, he begins a purge of his address book. And in doing so, he takes the audience on a satirical journey through a world where social networking is slowly taking over...
Justin Moorhouse is one of the region’s best-loved comics. After winning City Life’s Comedian of the Year award in 2003 (previously held by eminent comics such as Caroline Aherne, Dave Spikey and Peter Kay), he went on to act in Phoenix Nights before taking on a regular show on Key 103fm. Praised by Jimmy Carr as ‘easily my favourite comedian’, Moorhouse is a talent to watch out for.
