Award-winning Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins sings to the city.

The lovely Katherine's music has broad appeal as it combines pop, hymms, classical and arias to cross the taste divides and attract enough followers to have enabled her to outsell the Spice Girls and Celine Dion, which her fifth album, 'Rejoice', achieved in 2007. Indeed last year was an especially good one for Katherine's career, as she made had several TV appearences on both BBC and ITV, won classical performer of the year at the Variety Club Showbiz Awards, sang before the Queen at the 79th Royal Variety Performance, performed as a guest at the X Factor final and even catwalk modelled for a charity.
