Manchester Orchestra is announced as the support for Kings of Leon's huge Christmas show at Manchester Central.
The forthcoming Kings of Leon gig at Manchester Central is one of the most hotly anticipated gigs to hit the city in months. Tickets for the 17,500 capacity venue sold out shortly after going on sale following the smash success of the band's latest album Because of the Times.
The recent news that Manchester Orchestra are to provide support during the tour will only add to the excitement. The American band (named after Manchester because of the lead singer's love of The Smiths) played to huge festival crowds over the summer and are currently creating a stir with their first album 'Like A Virgin Losing A Child". They performed at Night and Day in September as part of their own tour and have a strong fan base in the city.
