Lostprophets at Manchester Apollo 25th February

With their fourth album in the UK Top 10, Lostprophets are on top of their game as they get ready to play the Apollo.

It has been more than three years since Liberation Transmission, Lostprophets' third album, took the top spot in the UK album charts. Since they finished touring the band have been hidden away writing their next album, presumably in the darkened basement of a haunted house on a windy cliff in Wales, only venturing out to play scorching sets on the metal stages of the UK's biggest festivals.

The wait has been worth it. The Betrayed is the most energetic album yet from the Welsh nu-metal band, cremating their punk-pop influences with a darker, edgier, sound and blistering lyrics. It is nasty. It is heavy. You'll love it.

But don't take our word for it. Lostprophets are playing at Manchester Academy this February, supported by Kids in Glass Houses, Hexes, We Love The Ocean and SHARKS – get tickets now!
