Michael McDonald at the Manchester Apollo 21st June

Michael McDonald, one of the most distinctive voices in soul music, visits Manchester on the summer's longest day.

 

5 times Grammy award winner Michael has a new album, Soul Speak, due out on April 4th and is touring the UK in June. The album features a selection of covers of various soul classics including 'Living for the City', 'Walk On By' and 'Love TKO', plus 3 new songs of his own.

 

The former Doobie Brother and member of Steeley Dan is famous for various tracks that still enjoy radio play including 'Ya Mo Be There' and 'Sweet Freedom' and has just 3 dates in the UK this year, with 1 at the Apollo.
