Morcheeba have ditched their reliance on a single vocalist and their current LP features a different guest vocalist on each track. Core band members the Godfrey brothers took the unusual route of recruiting vocalists from different parts of the world by scouring the myspace website and this new experimental direction has given them the energy to bounce back, after their previous two albums were not as well received.
Their tour is in association with the Marine Conservation Society and its nicely appropriate that the venue for this gig is at Salford Quays.
