Neil Young in double show at Manchester Apollo 11th and 12th March

Archived: This event was in 2007.
Sixties and seventies legend to play two Manchester gigs.
Solo musician, sixties and seventies icon, band member, film director, political commentator, mentor - there seems to be no end to the number of different roles Neil Young has held throughout his career, and no end to the energy he continues to deploy over forty years after entering the music industry.
The singer has now revealed that he is to play a series of dates in March 2008 that represent his first UK shows since he toured in 2003 in support of the ‘Greendale’ album. Next year’s gigs promise to be a special occasion as Neil Young will perform two sets; the first an acoustic performance and the second an electric set backed by a full band.
Tickets aren't cheap at £65 a pop - but if that's how much it costs to see a genuine legend in action, so be it.
