Nickelback at the Manchester M.E.N. Arena 15th September

In Gigs

Archived: This event was in 2008.

Nickelback tour

The Canadian rock quartet tour to support their  'All The Right Reasons' album.

They'll be appearing at 4 arenas just as the autumn is beginning, managing to squeeze Sheffield in among the inevitable London, Birmingham and Manchester gigs. The band are currently enjoying success with their album and the single 'Rockstar'.

Nickelback trivia: The band's name supposedly originates from when guitarist Mike Kroeger had a job in a Stateside branch of Starbucks coffee store. He frequently gave the customers a nickel in change and would  say "here's your nickel back" as he did so. The band are probably now wealthy enough to buy Starbucks.
