Paul Potts

Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts gets ready to play Manchester.

It has been a whirlwind couple of years for Paul Potts. In 2007 he was working as a manager at Carphone Warehouse, occasionally visiting his parents in Bristol and settling into married life. Then he sang Nessun Dorma on Britain's Got Talent and his world flipped upside down as he walked away with the top prize of £100,000 and a place on the bill of the Royal Variety Show.

Within a matter of months, he had released his platinum-selling album One Chance, which topped the album charts in the UK and 12 other countries around the world. He embarked on a huge concert tour, taking in 85 cities across 23 countries around the world, and even sang with Katherine Jenkins, Linda Brava and the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

Now a millionaire five times over and celebrating the release of his second album, Passion, Paul Potts is about to head out on tour again and will be performing at Manchester Apollo this October. With his exquisite tenor and unprepossessing air, this is one concert you won't want to miss.
