Piotr Anderszewski in JS Bach / Zaha Hadid Architects at Manchester Art Gallery 3rd – 5th July

Pianist Piotr Anderszewski plays some of JS Bach's solo masterpieces within Zaha Hadid's purpose-built chamber hall as part of Manchester International Festival.

Zaha Hadid is one of the most well-respected architects in the world at the moment. Now she and her partner Patrik Schumacher have created a specially commissioned chamber hall within Manchester Art Gallery. Over the course of nine concerts, the space will play host to three of the world's finest classical musicians as they perform JS Bach's solo instrumental works.

Piotr Anderszewski will perform JS Bach's Partita nr 2, Partita nr 6 and English Suite nr 6, bringing together some of the world's most beautiful chamber music and a near-perfect environment in this outstanding event in the second Manchester International Festival calendar.
