The global dance phenomenon brings its farewell tour to Manchester after fifteen years on the road.
When Ireland drew the curtain back for their interval act during the 1994 Eurovision song contest, little did they know that they were unleashing a global dance phenomenon on the world. The seven-minute dance launched the career of Michael Flatley and was subsequently developed into a full-length dance show that broke all box office records when it opened in Dublin in 1995. Riverdance has since toured 276 venues across 32 countries and 4 continents, taking in an audience of 19 million people.
After fifteen years of touring, Riverdance will now visit Manchester as part of its farewell tour, starring Donna Maria Boyle, Deirdre Hamilton, Alan Kefenick, Joseph Moriarty, Alan Scariff and Maria Buffini, alongside soloist Brioni Gallagher and members of the Moscow Folk Ballet Company. Mystical, energetic and joyful by turns, make sure you experience this spectacular show before it is too late!
