Simple Minds are on their Celebrate world tour this year to commenerate 30 years in the business.
The band are making Manchester their first UK stop before visiting a handful of arenas across the nation. Jim Kerr and his band have been in a contemplative mood upon reaching this milestone and without a new album to promote, they are keen to revisit their former glories and thank their fans for their long-term support.
The band's last album, 'Black & White 050505' was released in September 2005 and hailed as a return to form, reproducing the kind of epic sound that made them famous in the 80s and has filled arenas in the years since. The band are making Manchester their first UK stop before visiting a handful of arenas across the nation.
