Tim Flavin takes the lead in one of the best-loved musicals of all time.
Singin' In The Rain has been delighting audiences for over 55 years with its combination of music, spectacle and romance. Don Lockwood, forever immortalised by Gene Kelly in the 1952 film, is a silent movies star who is told he has everything he could possibly want – fame, adoration, even a well-publicised ‘romance’ with his insufferable co-star Lina Lamont. But everything is about to change. There is talk in the studio of a new kind of film, where the actors actually talk…
Tim Flavin takes the lead as Lockwood in this show from UK Productions. He is the only American actor to have won a Laurence Olivier Award for best actor in the Rodgers and Harts musical On Your Toes, and has been nominated for the award a further two times for his roles in My One And Only and Crazy For You. He has played some of the most memorable roles around in shows such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Gay Divorce, Kiss Me Kate and Chicago.
With some of the greatest numbers in the history of music including Make 'Em Laugh, Good Morning, You Were My Lucky Star and, of course, Singin' In The Rain, this show is sure to be a massive hit.
