When To Run

When To Run is the hilarious one-person comedy show that tells the story of four women runners and a man who looks a bit like Tony Soprano.

Sophie Woolley flits between four different characters - a neurotic professional, an urban teenage athlete, a secretly miserable life coach and a dog walker who hates exercise. Their lives collide as they pound the pavements of London - with fatal consequences.

Speaking about the show, Sophie says “I started going running and began to notice the same women out running too. Our paths kept crossing. So I wrote this show where I play all the characters: Emma, a narcissistic, loft living, executive adrenalin junkie; Shelley, an urban teenage athlete with her heart set on 2012; Celia, a lifestyle coach whose perfectly 'happy' life is actually rather 'rotten' and Julia, a bone idle dog walker who over-watches her Sopranos DVD box set. These four have more in common than they think, and their lives cross over in the local park, with fatal consequences."

Sophie has appeared on Channel 4's The Art Show and Shoreditch Tw*t Comedy Lab pilot. She is a regular performer on Radio 1, Radio 3 and Radio 4, with a radio version of When To Run broadcast on Radio 4 in February 2008.

Performance Times: Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm, and Saturday at 7.00pm.

Ticket Prices: Adults £9.50 and Concessions £6.50.
