Special FX lineups announced until 14 December

The line-up is revealed for a series of free Friday evening events at the Royal Exchange.
Special FX has returned to the Royal Exchange Theatre and the line-up looks better than ever. The series of events take place on Friday nights at the Royal Exchange, giving audiences a chance to enjoy free entertainment and half-price drinks to kick start their weekend.
The line-up so far includes:
- 16 November: Doin' Moon by Akiel 'Scorcha' Chinelo, which explores Scorcha's first hand experiences at HM Prison Strangeways during the passing of the lunar months accompanied by Anwen Lewis on the cello
- 23 November: Litmus Strings play classic Manchester hits from the 1980'2 and 1990's transposed for string quartet
- 30 November: Da Capo Duo sees flautist Sarah Atter and guiterist Andrew Booth playing music from famous and lesser known classical composers
- 7 December: Arun Ghosh returns to the theatre to perform his nationally renowned mix of jazz with hip hop, Indian classical, rock and western folk music
- 14 December: Victorian Usher brings puppetry to Special FX as Beka Haigh and her Victorian usher puppet (specially commissioned for the Royal Exchange) check tickets and guide audience members to their seats.
All wine, beer and soft drinks are half price between 5.30pm and 6pm. All performances are free and run from 6pm - 7pm.
