Last few tickets for the UK’s biggest comeback group

Take That were once arguably the most famous boyband in Europe. After forming in the late 1980s, they dominated the charts until the mid 1990s with a string of hits such as Everything Changes But You, Never Forget, Babe, A Million Love Songs and Relight My Fire. After Robbie Williams left the group in the mid 1990s to forge his solo career, the group continued for a short while before calling it a day Their fans were devastated, so much so that helplines were opened to help them come to terms with the news.

Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Gary Barlow all went on to solo pursuits, with Barlow’s continued songwriting and Mark Owen’s stint on Celebrity Big Brother both gaining them notable acclaim.

In 2006, following a documentary and the release of their Greatest Hits album, the news broke that the band would reform (minus Williams) and tour the UK. Though other bands from the time reformed around the same time, it was Take That who really captured the imagination of the public. Their singles Patience, Shine and Rule the World from their Beautiful World tour all hit the top 10 in the UK singles charts.

Teaming extravagant costumes, theatrics, dance routines and old hits with their new material, the Beautiful World tour showed that the band had not lost their previous shine. The tour went on to become one of the highest-grossing tours to date.

News of their latest tour, The Circus, shows that their hold on the audience has not weakened, with almost all dates selling out on the day of sale. Set to be their most exhilarating visual show to date, there are a few final tickets left for their opening show in Manchester on 23rd June – but they won’t be available for long!
