Entertain the kids this summer with this whizzpopping stage show!
When orphan Sophie is snatched out of her bed in the middle of the night by a giant she is terrified. But luck is on her side – the giant is not the terrifying Bloodbottler or the vicious Fleshlumpeater. In fact, he doesn't eat human beans at all… he is the BFG!
The story of the orphan, the dream-maker and a world full of blood-thirsty giants, snozzcumbers, frobscottle and whizzpops has thrilled children for over 25 years. Now it is coming to Manchester's Palace Theatre in one of this year's most exciting shows.
The script has been adapted from Roald Dahl's classic children's book by David Wood, the UK's “National Children's Dramatist” whose adaptation of Tom's Midnight Garden was a sell-out Christmas success at the Library Theatre in Manchester two years ago. With direction from Phil Clarke, a stunning set and terrifying special effects, this show is the perfect way to keep your children happy this summer.
