The Go Team Play The Ritz 13th September

When we heard The Go! Team’s first album, Thunder Lightening Strike, we were definitely intrigued...

There’s a huge sense of fun in what they do, showing influences from sources as different as majorette groups, B-Movie chase scenes and 80’s hip hop. It sounds as though the album should have been a disaster. But instead, the Brighton-based group found themselves supporting Sonic Youth, Franz Ferdinand and The Flaming Lips, and even picking up a Mercury nomination.

So we’re quite excited about this live show, just three days after the band release their second album, Proof of Youth. The new album is bigger, brasher and more energetic than their first offering, and you can bet this gig will leave you breathless.
