Cherry Ghost, The Futureheads and Peter Hook headline two special one-off gigs at Night and Day as part of a series of live music events hosted by Jack Daniels.
The JD Set is a series of nationwide music events featuring 40 cutting-edge bands in celebration of Jack Daniels' musical heritage. This year's events in Manchester span two days: Thursday 21st February sees Cherry Ghost, The Kissaway Trail and Pull Tiger Tail take to the stage, followed by The Futureheads, The Metros and Team Waterpolo on Friday 22nd February.
And to top it all off, legendary Mancunian bass player Peter Hook will present the series of gigs and is widely expected to take to the stage on one of the two nights and jam with the bands.
The JD Set will be filmed at Night and Day as part of a bespoke Channel 4 series to be broadcast later this year. During the series, Peter Hook, Rick Edwards and a panel of music industry experts will discuss whether these bands will become musical icons of the future.
Over the last five years The JD Set has hosted such breakthrough artists as CSS, Kate Nash, Cold War Kids, Hot Club De Paris, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Maximo Park.
At only £6 per ticket including a free drink and a free JD t-shirt with two or more Jack Daniels' drinks, this is an excellent chance to see stars of the future. Call ![]()
