America's biggest punk band kicks off a riot in Manchester,
The Offspring have just announced two UK dates this August in London and Manchester to follow on from their massive three month tour of the United States. Smashing together guitars, heavy drums, punk tunes and irreverent lyrics, the Offspring have become the most influential punk band in US history, making more than 50 million album sales as well as inspiring groups like Green Day and Rancid.
They first hit the mainstream with their third album, Smash, with songs like Self Esteem, Come Out And Play and Gotta Get Away, before achieving worldwide success with follow-up album Americana. Lead single Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) became the defining song of 1998 with its tongue-in-cheek lyrics and catchy hook, and follow-ups Why Don't You Get A Job, The Kids Aren't Alright and She's Got Issues are still staples on the playlists of rock clubs across the country.
With a ninth album up their sleeve, this is a great chance to be among the first to hear the band's latest material. This will be a high-energy, mosh-filled blinder of a gig – get tickets now!
