Bill Bailey has got serious competition in Tim Minchin. Run through a checklist of Bailey's schtick and the similarities are striking. Boggly eyes? Check. Ginger hair? Check. But Tim Minchin is a stand-out stand up in his own right. Since his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe won him the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer back in 2005, he has won over critics and audiences alike with his hilarious lyrics and piano playing. In fact, so many people have been won over by the Australian comic that the first leg of his Ready For This tour sold out across all 40 dates.
