Visions of China at Museum of Science and Industry until 31st July

MOSI celebrates its new partnership with the China Museum of Science and Technology.

The Museum of Science and Industry is to celebrate new links with the China Museum of Science and Technology with a new photography exhibition exploring the changing face of China.

The partnership between MOSI and the China Museum of Science and Technology represents the first time international links have been formed between UK and Chinese industrial museums. In celebration, the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Manchester is presenting a selection of photographic images at the museum.

The photographs are by a range of respected Chinese artists and show different aspects of Chinese life and culture, such as panoramic views of the Chinese countryside and intimate portrayals of village life. They also give a fascinating insight into the engineering behind the famous buildings of Hong Kong and Shanghai.
