White Christmas

With an all-star cast and a heart-warming story, White Christmas will be the most magical musical in town!

The Lowry's Christmas shows are always spectacular, but this year's production of White Christmas looks set to outdo all the other shows in town. Based on the 1954 Christmas film of the same name, the show tells the story of two buddies who put on a show at the Vermont Inn and find love in the process.

White Christmas is one of the best-loved Christmas films of all time, featuring songs such as Let It Snow, Happy Holiday and, of course, White Christmas itself. The stage show not only features all the hit songs but brings them to life with a star-filled cast.

The lead role of Bob Wallace is played by Aled Jones, who rose to fame as the cherubic voice behind hit Christmas song Walking In The Air before going on to become a TV presenter, singer and entertainer as an adult. He is joined by Adam Cooper, who will bring the dancing skills that earned him roles in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake and the film Billy Elliot to the part of Bob Wallace's partner, Phil Davis.

Suzanne Shaw (2008 champion of Strictly Come Dancing and member of pop group Hear'Say) will play Judy Haynes with West End star Rachel Stanley as her onstage sister Betty. Rounding off the amazing celebrity lineup is Tony Award winning actor Roy Dotrice OBE as General Waverly.

With a chorus of 30 and a 17-piece orchestra, White Christmas is worth making a song and dance over – buy your tickets now!
